Description

We design systems to recover and dispose of waste and render effluent capable of meeting standards set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (formerly the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commisission). We have considerable experience in designing wastewater treatment plants, including five of Corpus Christi's six treatment facilities.

Through the years, the company has grown from two to more than 40 people and yet it remains family owned and operated. Larry Urban and Chuck, Jim and Dan Urban, sons of the late Eugene Urban, are the company's principal owners. The fact that we're family owned means Urban Engineering will continue to be invested in the South Texas community and that client satisfaction and respect for the environment will remain company hallmarks.

Urban Engineering has the unique understanding required to successfully negotiate the site development process. Our years of experience and innovative engineering solutions can make the difference between a project that is merely feasible or profitable. Such solutions are a collaborative effort with Owner, Architect, agencies and the Contractor.

Urban Engineering is recognized as a specialist in wastewater treatment plant design and rehabilitation. Our services generally begin with an analysis of the quality and characteristics of the wastewater stream. We design each plant to meet the particular needs of the client, which vary tremendously for industrial wastewater systems due to variations in discharge.
