Utah Metal Works is as concerned as anyone in the industry about radioactive materials; therefore, we are careful to provide only non-radioactive scrap to our customers. We use a state-of-the-art radiation detection system on all incoming and outgoing materials for your protection and peace of mind. Radiation is everyone's responsibility and UMW strives to do its part in protecting our workers as well as our customers by providing radioactive free scrap.

UMW employs over 40 full-time workers at our 10 acre Salt Lake City facility, many of whom have been with us for a long time: and they are the heart and soul of our business. We are proud of our team and its dedication to providing outstanding service to all of our customers whether they be in Utah, in other states, or across the world.
