The engineering team works primarily with Montana-Dakota’s large commercial and industrial customers. Our goal is to be the one-stop shop for the energy needs of these customers. In addition to providing appropriate gas and electric service, we offer engineering advice, up-to-date information on new energy technology, financial analysis, vendor referral and energy auditing services.

Today, we’re a division of MDU Resources Group, Inc., a diversified natural resources company based in Bismarck, N.D. We provide retail natural gas and/or electric service to parts of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

At Montana-Dakota Utilities we provide customers with access to incentive plans and conservation tips for more efficient energy use, as well as environmental information.
