VFS is a privately owned company that was formed following the acquisition of Viking-Great Lakes Fire Protection (formerly Viking Fire Protection of Southern California) from industry leader Great Lakes Plumbing and Heating. Although founded in 1993, VFS’s lineage can be traced back as far as the 1930’s. This heritage means that VFS has the history and experience to build custom solutions that are unparalleled in the property protection industry. VFS is unique in the breadth of services it provides to clients. Services include fire sprinklers, fire alarms, monitoring, inspection-maintenance, access control and CCTV camera security systems, and construction services.
