Description

The most common application of the Vitacom teleport is to provide satellite connectivity from a remote location to the US Internet backbone. The Vitacom teleport has fiber connectivity to the Internet, and in turn by uplinking and downlinking a satellite signal to the remote location, then that remote location is connected to high-speed Internet. Vitacom is currently providing this service to ISP's as well as private companies. Circuits can be set up to run with the same transmit/receive data rates (symmetric) or with asymmetric transmit and receive data rates.

Vitacom has extensive experience in providing C-band transceivers for customers world-wide. In addition to the listed models, higher power units are available by combining a Vitacom up/down converter with an external power amplifier. Contact Vitacom for details.

Vitacom started by supplying satellite equipment and services to Fortune 100 companies in the United States. Vitacom then expanded into Latin America, supplying the first private satellite network in Mexico, to ITESM. Vitacom has increased it's presence in Latin America, providing equipment and services into almost all Latin American countries. More recently, Vitacom has started providing services into Africa, covering the continent using IS-907 and IS-1R.

Vitacom corporate office as well as our equipment group is located in California. Corporate office handles all contracts, invoicing, collection and other administrative functions. Equipment group design and manufacture satellite equipment . Our primary teleport is located in Miami USA where we offer Satellite Services, Colocation, Server Leasing and more. We have two POPs for global coverage located in Germany and Hawaii. Our Mexico Office handles Latin America client interactions. We also have Distributors located throughout the world.
