The origins of Valley Forge Consulting Corporation (VFCC) trace back to the early 1970's when two of the current principals (Leonard A. Mayo and Jack C. Holland) were employed by Valley Forge Investment Corporation (VFIC). At that time, the consulting activities centered around the recently passed Professional Corporation Enabling Acts which allowed professionals to incorporate their practices in order to take advantage of the many tax and fringe benefit opportunities not otherwise available. The most significant of these advantages was the ability to establish a qualified retirement plan.
