Description
Can I process my own mail? Yes, but you'll likely find that it will cost you more to process your own mail. Van Meter provides the expertise necessary to get your mail to the desired clientele at the least expensive rates. Due to our staff's extensive years of experience, and state-of-the-art software, you concentrate on running your business, and leave the mailing to us. It's what we do and we do it very well. When is tabbing required? Post office regulations state that no tabbing is required on a flat or non-letter sized piece (over 6 1/8" high or 11 1/2" long). Two tabs are required if the opening is on the bottom, if there are multiple pages or saddle stitching. One tab is sufficient if the opening is on the top. Should I send my mail First Class or Standard? It depends on your postal budget and how soon you need it delivered. Is the material date sensitive? Delivery time for bulk mail can be 7 to 10 days longer than for First Class mail. Postal rates for First Class mail are usually higher. What are the dimensions for a First Class postcard? An actual post card is 3 1/2" X 5" minimum and 4 1/4" X 6" maximum. Why should I use barcoding? Normally, barcoding will save 3 to 5 cents per piece or more, depending on the sort. For most customers barcoding cuts postage costs tremendously.
