We seek to establish and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, so we want you to make sound decisions in what you plan to grow. We do not contract with growers for specific crops or quantities. We review market opportunities and trends, and share this and other information with you.

Veritable Vegetable is a Certified Organic Handler through California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). CCOF promotes and supports organic food and agriculture through a premier organic certification program, trade support, producer and consumer education and political advocacy. From apples to zucchini, from almonds to wine, CCOF is involved in every facet of organics, with over 1,300 different organic crops and products, including livestock, processed products and services.

Founded to support small to mid-sized farmers and independent retailers, Veritable Vegetable’s history and success speak to our commitment to high integrity relationships, quality products, minimal environmental impact and active involvement in our community. Joining the B Corp community formally recognizes our ongoing commitment to operate Veritable Vegetable based on our values, rather than the bottom line, and provides a formal assessment tool for monitoring our progress moving forward.

The unique ability to integrate transportation and warehouse resources is a vital component of VV, providing us the flexibility and efficiency we need to move produce successfully. By running our own trucks, we control in-bound arrival time, ensure complete customer orders, and provide the freshest products possible to our customers.
