Our family owned and operated business has been at the same location for over 25 years.

ASE Blue Seal Recognized Shop. We are one of only four auto repair shops in San Antonio to be recognized by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as a Blue Seal Repair Shop. Basically, you should feel assured that our mechanics are being tested and certified in every aspect of your automobile. This is the main reason we say: We provide dealer quality at a reasonable price!.

There are so many people trying to take advantage of the system; but we honestly feel that if you treat someone fair and do what you say you will do, a lifelong relationship will evolve. We have been in business over 25 years because we are honest and fair with all of our customers. Rest assured that we will treat your vehicle as if it was our mother's!.

Vern's started out as a two bay garage in 1987 and is now a well established eight bay automotive repair facility. We are big enough to get most vehicles in and out the same day, but small enough to provide that personal experience that dealerships and franchises can't or won't. Although we are in business to make a profit, we are not going to gouge customers with needless UPSALES or scare tactics. Customer satisfaction is a top priority for us. Being your lifelong automotive service provider and earning your business referrals is how we make a profit. We want you to feel like you are part of the Vern's Auto Repair family, not just the guy or gal with the 2003 Mustang.
