The Vernal Group is an architectural firm with experience designing a variety of commercial, industrial, educational and residential projects. We work collaboratively as a design team, with the client and consultants, to create projects that not only meet the particular needs of the client, but express excellence in design. The Vernal Group works with both publicly-funded and private clients, understanding the specific needs of both.Founded in 1997, The Vernal Group has served numerous clients in the Central Valley and throughout California. With offices in Fresno and Visalia, we have a strong commitment to improve the communities in which we live through quality design. A tribute to our performance is the number of repeat clients we continue to serve.The firm ’s practice includes architecture, engineering and planning. With a professional engineer on staff, structural design decisions can be made quickly and seamlessly. The Vernal Group ’s team approach, integrating the strengths and experience of staff and consultants alike, produces designs that work as a cohesive whole. We commonly utilize 3D modeling and CAD rendering internally as a design tool, while ensuring that the client, and often the public, can suitably visualize the design.Our design philosophy is to go beyond the particular needs of the client and ensure that our projects enhance the built environment within their neighborhoods. This includes quality aesthetic design, barrier-free accessibility, and sustainable design, including membership in the U.S. Green Building Council. We also have experience with historical preservation, enthusiastically working to maintain or renew buildings and sites of cultural significance.
