Vertex Systems was founded in 1981 in Columbus, Ohio, to provide software solutions to organizations that serve people with disabilities and barriers to employment. We have been providing market leading solutions to this industry for more than three decades, working with hundreds of vocational rehabilitation, day services and supported living providers nationwide.

Our business was established with the goal of being the leader in developing and delivering industry and market leading products. We first established an undisputed market leadership position with our vocational client payroll system back in the eighties with a product called Vertex Workship Information Manager (WIM). We have extended that leadership position to provide products that cover the entire spectrum of needs for providers of human services of all sizes.

In addition, our products can be implemented at your location and within your internal network as an "on-premise" installation, or as a "hosted" installation. Hosted installations are where we provide the servers, systems software, and security, all in a HIPAA compliant infrastructure. On-premise installations are sometimes preferred when you have the IT talent, hardware infrastructure, systems software, and security knowledge to manage the environment. Hosted installations are available where you don't have these costly assets.
