All FloodGate models automatically encrypt the HD channels to meet Hollywood’s strict requirements for content protection using Pro:Idiom®, SamsungLYNK®, or Verimatrix® encryption -- standard technologies widely available on commercial hospitality television sets or set top boxes for decryption. FloodGate systems can co-exist with most pay-per-view and video on demand systems currently deployed. The VideoPropulsion® FloodGate® FG-9200M is our new generation head-end Pro:Idiom® encryption with three models for providing cable HDTV services. The models are capable of encrypting 8, 12, or 16 MPTS respectively from IP multicast sources, with up to 42 programs streams in HD or SD within each MPTS, and providing output over Gigabit Ethernet copper.
