Started as a side project in 1998 by Proxicom alumnus CEO Steve Deller, Virid found early success developing solutions for companies like Lorilard, Omnion Video Network, and Kaliedoscope. It was the spring of 2000 when Creative Director Rob Fredley left a failing startup following a struggling USWeb/CKS to join Steve that Virid became a full time company and they started looking for office space and staffing the projects they brought with them from prior engagements.
