Linda has been dedicated to women's health for over 25 years, working with Dr. Cook since 2000. In addition to providing patient care, Linda is a researcher and an educator for professionals and patients alike. She has served as a Preceptor, teaching graduate-level nurse practitioners and Fellowship-track MDs at the University of San Francisco and UC San Francisco. Linda's experience also includes clinical trial research and medical research at Stanford.

Our philosophy is to provide comprehensive women's healthcare with empathy, compassion, and world-class medical credentials .

I hate it , it sucks . I have had it for over 10 years , Took the Dr’s two year to even figure out what was wrong . I had a C-section and after that my health just went down . They told me I was ‘ healing ‘ well I thought it shouldn’t take me 2 years to heal . Until I found a lump and they said oh you have a hernia . Well after surgery they cam out and told me it was not a hernia and in fact they had no idea what it was but looked like uterus lining . Hours later they told me part of my uterus was sowed into my C-section scar .

As a young girl I decided that I didn’t want to be the mother that my mom was to me. And to my 9 year old brain that meant going to school and earning the highest education so that I may be able to help my children with their homework; so that I can work part time and make great money without sacrificing the time I need to spend with my kids. That meant meeting and marrying a man who was not an alcoholic, like my father, so that we can be present parents for our kids.

At Vital Health Institute, Dr. Cook and the other healthcare providers see and treat a wide range of women's health-related issues. As a team we are dedicated to fulfilling our motto, "The way women should be treated." We feel that it is a privilege to be part of such a great practice, and a privilege to have the opportunity to help our patients regain their health. We are a group who truly like each other, and each one of us brings a positive, upbeat attitude to work each day. It is part of our work ethic to treat our patients with respect, dignity and compassion.
