Description
This is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first. June 2005 - SoundPlug featured in Entertainment Design. In the June edition of Entertainment Design the SoundPlug was featured alongside of such notables as the i-pod in an article about 'The Widgets We love'. Take a look... Dec 2004 - 70 SafeFlames used at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir holiday concert. 70 SafeFlames were used during this event that was televised on PBS. The flames were hidden in the hands and revealed in such a way as to indicate the passing on of the spirit from one member to another. Truly spectacular. Oct 2004 - Diane and Kate promote SafeFlame and SoundPlug at LDI in Vegas. Once again those nice folks at HeatShrink.com allowed my wife Diane and my niece Kate the corner of their booth to promote my inventions to the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, I was otherwise tied up co-designing the sound for for a new adaptation of 'Dracula' at Triad Stage in Greensboro. Diane and Kate were such a 'hit' that we are going to try and get them to go to LDI in Orlando in 2005. Thanks for the real estate Ray! Mar 2004 - Smaller SafeFlame circuit board launched at USITT. The board uses surface mount technology and is much smaller, just under the size of a 9 Volt battery - how convenient! Once again those nice folks at HeatShrink.com allowed me the corner of their booth to promote both SoundPlug and SafeFlame to the Theatre industry. Thanks guys. 2004 - SafeFlame lights the H. L. Hunley. A SafeFlame is used in the replica of the H. L. Hunley - The first Confederate Submarine - on display in Charleston SC. I have yet to see it, but they purchased it. 11/20/03 - SafeFlame and SoundPlug at LDI. Once again those nice folks at HeatShrink.com allowed me the corner of their booth to promote my inventions to the entertainment industry. Thanks guys. 3/20/03 - SafeFlame launched at USITT. Don't worry, I'm not pretending to be a theatre lighting designer, but I have developed one of the most theatrically realistic battery operated candle flames that won't wash out under stage lighting. Check it out... 6/20/02 - Now selling in England and Europe. For those of you in the UK and Europe who have been wishing to buy the SoundPlug but have been concerned about import duty etc., we are now shipping from our distributor over there. Check out our purchase page for more details... 6/18/02 - Check out the new CheckMates my students built. As with last academic year, my second year students all built their own CheckMate. Check out the new pic. 3/26/02 - Introducing the LiteClip. I know that some of you who work in Sound as well as Lighting find it difficult justifying buying a DMXversion SoundPlug in addition to your regular audio SoundPlug. Well, you don't have to worry any more. Check out the LiteClip. 12/12/01 - KeyClip, New Web Hosting, and Shopping Cart. A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks. I have developed the KeyClip for those of you who would like to keep their SoundPlug on their key chain rather than in their pocket.
