This “claim” was logical from a mechanical standpoint, but has proven itself thru a fundamental change in our business since that time.

As many times is the case, Carrier was the first in the industry to react, and began to look into alternatives to R-22. In 1996, Carrier was the first manufacturer to develop indoor cooling products with an alternative refrigerant. The product Carrier developed is R-410a, a refrigerant proven to be safe to the environment, and through Carrier’s development, they were able to provide improved efficiency over R-22. Carrier’s brand name for this chlorine free compound is Puron!

At Vogel we specialize in Carrier equipment, but we repair all models. A service technician is available 24 hours, through our on call rotation. While overtime rates apply for this emergency service, the Customer has the ability to get a Vogel Service Technician to their home at any time. This is especially important during extreme weather when you must have heat or cooling, and you want someone you can trust to get your equipment going, and NOW!
