Canadian Conservation Institute www.cci-icc.gc.ca CCI was created in 1972, to promote the proper care and preservation of Canada's heritage collections so they can be accessed by current and future generations. CCI is recognized as a pioneer in the conservation of cultural heritage. The mission, to advance the practice, science, and technology of conservation, is accomplished through conservation research and development, expert services, and knowledge dissemination. The CCI web site is a good resource for conservation expertise, publications, training, treatment projects, research, etc. Oklahoma Museums Association www.okmuseums.org Oklahoma Museums Association (OMA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1972. Located at the Kirkpatrick Science and Air Space Museum at Omniplex in Oklahoma City; OMA offers programs and services that provide professional services to museums, build networks among members and potential partnering organizations; promote professional growth; and encourage public awareness of the value of museums. OMA serves as an advocate throughout the state on behalf of museums.
