Description

Mr. Cronshaw has more than 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry. Mr. Cronshaw has been with WCS since 2006 and engages in the sales efforts with Compact generators.

Mr. Ferguson has been with WCS for three years and has over 25 years of experience in the nuclear industry. His experience includes 15 years with a commercial processor where he was responsible for sales and developing service lines for radioactive waste.

From the outset, WCS has been committed to the safe and secure handling of the state and nation’s Low-level Radioactive Waste (LLRW). Disposal operations at WCS were never conceived, designed or expected to be a short-term solution for LLRW. Instead, WCS has always aimed to provide a safe, secure, long-term solution for waste disposal while fully protecting the environment. WCS’ greatest ally in this effort is the geology and geography at the disposal site.

Waste Control Specialists (WCS) is fortunate to enjoy a full partnership with the citizens of Andrews County. With their region's unique geological characteristics and history of successful corporate-community partnerships, the City and County of Andrews have supported WCS and its mission to provide a long-term solution to the nation's waste disposal needs for 20 years. In addition, the voters of Andrews County helped partially finance construction of the Texas Compact Waste Facility (CWF) with a $75 million bond initiative to support Compact disposal operations.
