W.D. Construction was formed in January 1989 by founder William Dean Covert and his son Larry. William had previously been employed as a general superintendent with over 25 years construction experience, and Larry as a journeyman carpenter and project manager with over 10 years experience. Together they embarked on starting their own general contracting business called W.D. Construction.
