COMPANY HISTORY Wohl Property Group is the product of three generations of experience in the California development industry. The company traces its roots to Emil R. Wohl Construction, a pioneer in the Southern California construction industry that specialized in concrete tilt-up facilities.In 1984, Emil H. “Skip” Wohl founded Wohl Property Group to acquire and develop commercial and industrial properties throughout California. The company initially focused on acquiring, repositioning and managing existing properties in joint venture with private capital sources. It also provided construction management and build-to-suit services to corporate clients seeking vertical development solutions for their real estate needs.In the mid-1990s, the company’s focus expanded to teaming with institutional capital providers to develop speculative and build-to-suit projects. Since 1997, Wohl Property Group has acquired and developed over 3 million square feet of commercial properties, valued at over $200,000,000.
