Crafts, stories and fun. 10/8/19 Vehicle Safety Check/Fire Department-Lake Delton Sauk County will hold its 10th annual “Vehicle Safety Check” Friday, October 8th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lake Delton Fire Department. Senior citizens can get free winterization checks to make sure their vehicles are properly prepared for winter driving. The service includes checking fluids, hoses, belts, lights and equipment. No appointment necessary. Refreshments provided. 10/8/10 Blood Drive/Challenge Academy Building-Fort McCoy A Blood Drive will be held Friday, October 8th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Challenge Academy Building 751 Auditorium, Fort McCoy. 10/8/10 Pig Roast Tailgate Supper/Necedah High School The Necedah Area School Teachers and Necedah Support Personal are hosting a Pig Roast Tailgate Supper Friday, October 8th starting at 5 p.m. at Necedah High School. The supper will end at the start of the Homecoming Football game (7 p.m.) Tailgate tickets $5. Meal includes: pork sandwich or hot dog, potato salad, baked beans, chips, cupcakes and a drink. Extra sandwiches available. Proceeds benefit NATA/NASP Scholarship Fund. 10/8, 10/9 & 10/10/10 River of Memories Rendezvous/Along Lemonweir River-Mauston The Annual River of Memories Rendezvous and Fall Festival will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 8th, 9th and 10th along the banks of the Lemonweir River in Mauston (follow the signs). History comes alive at the river. Friday-School Day, all schools and public welcome to stroll through time and enjoy a glimpse of the past. Saturday & Sunday-Rendezvous Camps are open. Food, traders, handmade items, competitions, farmers market, displays and games.
