That move could cost Lewistown just 10 cents/kwhour for the first decade. A representative of PNC Capital Markets also briefed the council on how they would provide bonds to finance the borough’s wastewater treatment project. PennDOT closes Rt. 333 for box culvert work (10-12-2010) Box culvert work will close a section of Rt. 333 in Turbett Twp. as crews from Juniata Company PennDOT Maintenance will replace a box culvert southeast of Old Port. Work is expected to last 2-3 weeks, weather permitting. This work was originally scheduled for last month but was then delayed. A detour will use Rts. 333 & 75 & Boyer Rd., Mountain Rd., & Reservoir Rd. Clean-up continues along the Rt. 235 spill site (10-12-2010) (DI) Remnants of a 6,000-gallon gas & diesel fuel spill off Rt. 235 near Beaver Springs last May still are being cleaned up & will require monitoring for at least another 1
