Specialty Underwriter As an underwriter in the small business binding unit, Casey Welch thrives on facing a wide variety of unusual risks and classes. A member of the Greene & Associates team for over 10 years, Casey takes a genuine interest in those she deals with each day, valuing them as more than “customers.” Having worked in the Department of Athletics at both the University at Buffalo and her alma mater St. Bonaventure University, Casey earned her New York State brokers license upon joining Greene & Associates.

Underwriter/Broker As a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and licensed insurance broker, Robert Schiele has been brokering and placing accounts for Greene & Associates’ retail and wholesale clients for over 20 years. He is responsible for underwriting submissions for in-house programs, a specialty service of Greene & Associates. Bob carefully reviews submissions sent in by production sources and determines the best course of action. Bob gained invaluable experience having served as an underwriter for companies such as CIGNA Insurance, Zurich Insurance and Continental Insurance.

Underwriter William produces several lines of business at Greene & Associates, and has been working alongside CEO William Greene for over 30 years. Before joining Greene & Associates, Wil served as Senior Executive Underwriting Specialist at Fireman’s Fund Insurance. There he focused on the marketing and underwriting of umbrellas, excess property, excess workers compensation and errors and omissions. He joined Montgomery & Collins as a broker in 1983 before joining Greene & Associates in 1987.
