This fascination has evolved into a wide assortment of skills ranging from project management, industrial controls, and mechanical designs to building proto types. Kim is also a natural marketing and management person, and will probably be the first person you talk to when contacting us. He heads up our public communications, and is invaluable to our group in making contacts for us. His interests include the study of science and nature, minerals, camping, church and community service, and being with his family and friends. [resumé.doc] Stephen Hamilton, shamilton@horizonimaging.com , 509.529.7657 Stephen has a wide breadth of experience, developing sensor systems based upon Acoustics, Ultrasound, CCD Imaging and Lasers. He has been the lone developer in startups and been part of a team designing complex systems. Active in church and with two kids, Stephen enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, photography and antiquing. [resumé.doc] Steve Wagner, steve@horizonimaging.com , 509.525.2860 Influenced by three years as an operating-room orderly at Loma Linda Medical Center, Steve took a couple of years of nursing before switching to medical electronics in which he earned a B.S. degree. Turning down opportunities to work in a hospital, he went to work for Tektronix testing and repairing in-circuit emulators where he acquired expertise with microprocessors and embedded applications. He returned to school for more formal training in computer science and accepted an engineering position with Tektronix. From this experience, Steve had many opportunities to develop strong skills at driver-level development, GUI, database and many types of systems interfaces. Steve has four girls that out-vote him every day, his wife being one of them! His fascination with physics, mathematics, optics, electronics, and science in general, plus a gifted mind to analyze challenging problems and engineer creative solutions, has made him an outstanding partner in our group. Tony is exceptionally easy to work with and is a good listener. Even though he can quickly present possibilities or approaches, he will listen to other's suggestions and take the time to explore his teammate's ideas rather than push his own. Tony has recently added a significant addition to his home, which his wife says is mostly to store his museum of electronic wonders over the years! Following the Boeing war-gaming group, he joined Technical Arts Corporation where he began a significant journey in the art of machine vision. There, he was part of a team that built high-accuracy 3D measurement systems using laser triangulation.
