The Andersen Family understands that the community is where our customers are drawn from and if it weren't for them, we would not be in business. To that end, we strive to provide the same quality service to our on-line customers as we do our on-site customers. Don't forget to fertilize your Roses! We recommend feeding roses monthly with GroPower . Be sure to trim off the old, spent blooms, with a long stem, to encourage new and heavier growth and avoid thin, floppy stems. Our roses are looking great now, so if you need to replace one that is not doing well, or you want a new color, be sure to stop in and see what we have. Sustainable Gardening The idea of sustainable gardening is working with nature, not against it. Over time, it encourages plants to be self-sufficient, minimizes the amount of work required to “fix” our unhappy plants, and has the added bonus of preventing negative impact on the environment. We can do this by lessening our use of chemical fertilizers, building up soil to continually feed itself and our plants, and using the natural resources we have at our fingertips to control pests. Observation of your own microclimate and soil is the key to getting what you want out of what you have.
