Description

Founded in 1945, the Walter E. Nelson Company, has become one of the Pacific Northwest's premier janitorial and paper supply distribution networks. Walter Nelson started the company while home on leave from the Navy during World War II. The original name was I & I Supply. After the war, Walter and Carl Roes were the first employees with Walter's father, Emil, doing deliveries part time. The name of the company was later changed to the Walter E. Nelson Co. The company sold primarily Janitorial Supplies.

Crown Paper and Janitorial Supply was founded in 2000 when industry veterans Doug Hamilton (Crown president) and Mike Nelson, owner of the Walter E Nelson Company, purchased Crown Chemical and changed the focus to paper and janitorial products. As a branch of the Walter E. Nelson Company, Crown has grown from two employees (Doug and a delivery driver) to thirteen full time employees.

Our staff's training begins on day of hire and continues throughout their career. We understand that our staff needs to be current on all of the latest issues you face within your facilities, and that you will expect us to have solutions. It's very important that you feel confident the Crown Paper Company has the answers you need, when you need them. In addition to our staff training, we also provide a variety of in-depth training and product knowledge to you, our customer.
