He is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and brings more than 22 years of experience in the industry to our company. He holds licenses for funeral directing and embalming in the State of Nevada and Texas. Rick and his wife, Amy, have four children; Ashley, Caitlin, Tristan and Trace. Rick serves as a volunteer with the St. Vincent’s Food Pantry, enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and being outdoors.

Reno, NV (May 16, 2013) – Walton’s Funerals & Cremations was recently honored at the Family Owned Business Awards program, sponsored by Nevada Business Magazine and Nevada State Bank. Though the event is three years old, this is the first year it was held in Reno in addition to Las Vegas. There were almost 500 nominees statewide, with 30 finalists in each of 10 categories, and one winner per category. Walton’s won in the “Wisdom of Age” category, for companies that have been in business for 20 years or more.
