NOTICE OF VACANCY Waterfront Container Leasing Company, Incorporated is seeking to hire a qualified Staff Accountant Job Duties: Under supervision and direction of, and in collaboration with Accounting Manager, performing following tasks: Assist the Accounting Manager in preparation of timely financial statement and reports. Assist in analyzing monthly financial reports pertaining to equipment leasing company’s international operations according to acceptable accounting and statistical procedures. Assist in conducting annual physical inventory of all major assets to establish status and review cost valuation in the book of accounts. Assist in examining and evaluating financial and information systems and procedures of international operations, and preparation of recommendations of controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity. Assist in implementing internal audit procedures as determined by C.F.O and Accounting Manager and participate in preparation of audit reports pertaining to international operations to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. Assist in verification accuracy of financial reports and records submitted to company’s head office against source documents, records and third party confirmation during audit field work. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a closely related field, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in the job offered or in closely related position.
