Watkins & Sons Manufacturing, Incorporated was started in 1976 as a sole proprietorship by Nathan L. Watkins, Sr. under the name of Watkins Manufacturing Company. The business was incorporated in 1992 and is a closely held S corporation. Watkins & Sons started as a job shop. We produce production parts and provide custom fabrications for our industrial customers. In 1979 a farmer requested that we manufacture some livestock equipment that was more durable and efficient than was available from other sources. Thus, a line of swine equipment was started.
