Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers, Welcome to the Watts Learning Center! Our K-5 school strives to provide young children with a well-rounded, world-class education. As a parent, you are your child’s first teacher. As educators, we provide a formal learning environment helping children acquire academic knowledge, use critical thinking skills, and develop positive social skills. When we work together with parents, we are able to provide an optimum learning experience for each child. Your attendance at meetings, and your participation in the family activities throughout the school year, will help build Watts Learning Center's community of learners. We've developed our Parents Handbook to provide you with the information you need to best support your child’s efforts to learn and grow every school year at the Watts Learning Center. Just as we are sharing with you some important information about our school, we look forward to receiving information from you about your child. The more we know the better able we are to facilitate your child’s learning. We measure our success as a school by the success each child experiences during each school year.
