About Wayne Whitter Mr. Whitter has been involved in the construction and building industry since 1973. After college and a carpenter apprenticeship, Mr. Whitter worked as a master carpenter, with historical restoration as a specialty. A former owner of a design-build firm, Mr. Whitter worked closely with architects and engineers on complex residential and commercial projects, bringing unique qualifications to the home inspection business. Mr. Whitter obtained his professional real estate inspector license in the shortest time span possible because of his wealth of construction knowledge and experience. Having no previous ties to the real estate industry, Mr. Whitter built a buyer-oriented business based on exceptional service and thorough inspections.
