Since our product is really our thinking, we recognize the need to employ smart people with broad educational backgrounds and a wide range of interests. Steven Schwartz, our company founder, spent more than 20 years as a tax partner in regional public accounting as a foundation to his work as a personal financial planner. Steve is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is a C.P.A., J.D., and is recognized as a Personal Financial Specialist by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a registered member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the gold standard in financial planning service delivery. Steve is also recognized as a Five Star Advisor by the Paladin Registry . Jamie Block, our tax and planning associate, also began her career in public accounting and is a C.P.A. The breadth of Jamie's interests and the level of her education speaks to the range of our thinking. Jamie is a graduate of Cornell University in Animal Science and holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business and Management. Jamie is a volunteer emergency medical technician. She is an associate member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
