Dorene provides Alan Funk with paralegal support. She has worked with Alan for over 14 years. Together, they joined Wechsler Becker in 2006. She often jokes that she is the woman behind the man, but they are really a team.

Their long-term relationship provides clients confidence. She understands that for so many, this may be their first experience with the court system. Through her training and experience she helps clients feel comfortable with the legal process. Working in family law is not for the weak at heart. She understands that. Dorene believes that this job is not just her career, but a calling.

In addition, Dominik has years of experience running and advising small businesses, and working with real property (real estate) issues, both as an attorney and as a real estate broker. This makes him uniquely qualified to deal with divorce issues involving complex issues of business and real property.
