Preston Wolin, M.D., is the director and founder of the Center for Athletic Medicine, Ltd. Founded in 1991, the center provides multispecialty care to every level of athlete, from children to professionals.

The Schaumburg Boomers play their home games out of the Schaumburg Boomers Stadium. They are a member of the Frontier League , a professional baseball league. Founded in 1993, the Frontier League provides its players with an avenue to succeed while learning to be professionals. It also offers its fans affordable, family-oriented entertainment. The Frontier League is home to 14 clubs. The Schaumburg Boomers joined the league in 2012. To keep the Schaumburg Boomers athletes as healthy as possible, the CCO's sports medicine specialists provide patient-centric care and expertise.

Weiss Memorial Hospital’s EMT Program is run by Trudy Casey, P.A., EMT Director/Coordinator. Casey offers over 35 years of experience in the EMS field, in addition to being Chicago’s first female paramedic. The classes, which cover practical skills, are taught by doctors, nurses, paramedics and EMTs.
