We support the responsible use of renewable energy and other sustainable technologies when combined effectively to enhance the visual environment. The program of use dictated by the end user along with the unique architecture of any given project drives our approach. This is to solve the requirements of the program while greatly improving the experience of the occupants within each space. We aspire to attain the highest quality of light while working with new lamp technologies, control systems and meeting the end user budget.

Prior to starting her own business, Sherry has worked with a prominent San Francisco Lighting Design firm, where she was project manager for several theatrical venues including Texas Nextstage and the new Arthur and Judy Zankel Hall (part of Carnegie Hall Center) in New York City. She has also worked on museum, bank, church, and aquarium exhibits, conference centers, restaurant and high end residential projects. Ms. Weller's background in Architecture has been key in the way she approaches lighting design. Her goal is to emphasize the built environment through the medium of lighting.

At Weller Design Architectural Lighting, WDAL, our goal is to provide a unique approach to each project. As a firm, our mission is to collaborate with other designers and work together to create lighting which not only respects the architecture, it becomes a part of the identifying statement about the work/site. It is our goal to team up with architects and interior designers whose vision is forward thinking and whose design efforts are relentless in their attention to detail and passion towards creating a distinctive quality of space.
