Our company was founded by Leo Welling in 1981 in Brighton, Illinois. Leo built his reputation as a residential carpenter working one on one with his customers to provide the highest quality building experience possible.

EPS manufactures high-performance, sustainable homes using structural insulated panels, (SIPs). SIP walls and roof panels are up to 15 times more airtight than traditional construction and result in more comfort and long-term durability.

Leo’s strong connection to his rural community helped him to develop his skills in additional types of construction. Post-frame buildings, garages, workshops and livestock buildings soon became a major part of his construction company.
