Description

Our teepees are constructed of top quality Grade A canvases. Each teepee is individually made to order with hand-sewn lacing pin holes. We have improved the hem to ensure the longevity of the canvas by placing webbing reinforced spurred grommets with ropes to stake the cover down instead of the more common webbing loops. This feature greatly diminishes the amount of moisture that can saturate the base of the cover causing the canvas to mildew. For strength, all panels are sewn with a lap seam, double lock stitch and Filco thread, which is a cotton shell wrapped around a polyester core for strength. The outer cotton shell will swell when wet and fills the needle hole to provide maximum protection from leakage. All stress areas are double reinforced.
