How long has Wet Edge Technologies ™ been around? Wet Edge Technologies ™ was formed in August of 2005. While Wet Edge Technologies ™ is a new company we have over of 30 years of experience in exploration, mining and the processing of materials for the pool industry. Wet Edge Technologies ™ sources pebbles from around the world as well as operates mining facilities in South America and New Zealand. Materials are transported to shipping ports on the West and East Coast or shipped in from domestic locations here in the States to be processed at blending plants in Arizona and Mississippi. During the formation of Wet Edge Technologies ™ it was agreed that in order to succeed we would need to improve upon the pool interior products that were already on the market. Just as importantly, we knew that we needed to join forces with quality oriented applicators that shared our desire to provide a quality pool finish for the consumer. With our custom-engineered admixtures, mineral based pigments and exotic naturally colored pebble we believe that we have created a better-quality product and have become "The Next Generation of Pebble Finishes ™". Are the Wet Edge ™ pool finishes easier for the applicator to use? Applicators that have used our materials have been very impressed with our products. Consistency and sizing of the materials are the basis for a quality pool finish. Pebbles for all the Wet Edge ™ products are not just scooped up and put in a bag. Stringent quality control standards are applied at the plant where the materials are cleaned, dried and sized to exact specifications. Meticulous consideration is paid to the precise gradation of the pebbles. This is essential for an applicator to achieve a tight compaction of the pebbles during the application process. The Wet Edge ™ Admixture, Pebble Edge ™ is added to fortify the cement in our pool mixes. The Pebble Edge ™ offers the application crews more workability with our materials.
