Wheel Werks, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Mike Pruess. Mike has spent his entire career in the wheel and tire business, working his way up the ladder from “tire busting” to supervisory roles and finally becoming the “chief cook and bottle washer” calling his own shots.

All tire manufacturers make tires specific to many different uses. Choose the category that is right for you and then check the specs on the tires at the manufacturer's website below. This is a representation of the many manufacturers we represent. Use this as a guide to select styles you feel will look good on your vehicle, then call us for fitment, price and availability.

We provide high qualtiy powder coatings and painting. Our own paint shop insures the right color match. We can strip coatings off wheels without damaging the finish underneath.

Most passenger car tires carry a tread wear rating. A tread wear rating generally falls between 60 and 540. Tread wear ratings are determined by testing tires in a controlled environment to determine how long a tire's tread will last. After a 7,200 mile wear test, a tread wear rating is assigned. Because tread wear ratings are assigned by tire manufacturers, comparisons are most effective between a specific manufacturer's products rather than across brands. A tire with a tread wear rating of 400, for example, is likely to last twice as long as a tire rated at 200.
