Searching for a limousine company on the web can be tricky due to the numerous false advertisers out there. So many internet limousine websites claim to own vehicles all over the world and that is why you should book with them. The reality is that most of these limousine companies do not own a single car. These websites are reservation clearinghouses; internet brokers who are third-party subcontractors. You may be asking why this poses a problem. The answer is because these businesses put YOU, the consumer, at risk. How does limo brokering put me at risk? Dealing with a limo-broker can be likened to gambling. Here is how: Since a reservation clearinghouse or Internet broker does not own their own vehicles or hire the chauffeurs, they simply pass on your reservation to a locally-based company that is available. There is no guarantee that they can provide the limo or service you requested since they merely find an available affiliate to cover the job. Furthermore, the total price you pay is above market.
