Alscott Real Estate Alscott is owned by Joe Scott, grandson of Joe Albertson who founded the Albertsons supermarket chain in Boise in 1939. Mr. Scott is a member of the Board of Directors of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation, a private family foundation dedicated to improving education in Idaho through grants and initiatives.
