Wicks Construction is a full-service concrete contractor with more than 50 years of experience working in every aspect of the concrete business. The range of our services includes work for Iowa DOT, MN DOT , contractor work in residential, commercial, industrial and paving, as well as a variety of specialty services .

Road work requires special knowledge and a willingness to cooperate with various state and private organizations to get the job done on time and on budget. Wicks Construction has extensive experience in managing these projects and relationships.

Wicks was founded by childhood friends Allan Wicks and Bob Carolan, who started the concrete business to meet the needs of a growing Winneshiek County. The two men worked together for 16 years before Carolan sold his portion of the company and the name changed to Wicks Construction, Inc.
