The General Counsel is a newly created office here at William Paterson University. This department was established to provide improved and more frequent legal advice to the University. The General Counsel serves as in-house legal counsel on behalf of the University and Board of Trustees.This website was designed to meet the needs of our client, the University.

“This new facility is a very exciting initial step in our academic zone master plan, as we seek to upgrade the main instructional facilities on campus in support of greater enrollments and more research on behalf of faculty and students,” said Kathleen Waldron, president of William Paterson University. “It is a tangible example of our commitment to provide our faculty and students with state-of-the-art facilities designed to support our superior academic programs focused on teaching and research.

Sgt. Lynette Butler , coordinator of veterans affairs and mediation services at William Paterson University, has been appointed to a two-year term on the Operation College Promise (OCP) National Advisory Council. OCP was founded in 2008 by the New Jersey Association of State Colleges and Universities. The organization offers outreach and educational support for student and alumni veterans in the post 9/11 era.

Center for Chinese Art The Center for Chinese Art at William Paterson University is dedicated to preserving and sharing the artistic heritage of China and integrating its rich tradition into the University's curriculum.
