PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Jim graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He began appraising in the early 1970's and founded Williams Associates in 1979. Jim's long involvement with The Appraisal Institute and its predecessor organizations, serving as the President of the Portland Chapter of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and 1997 President of the Oregon Chapter of The Appraisal Institute, contributes to his being one of the best known appraisers in Oregon.

Williams Associates Real Estate Appraisers, Inc., serving the Portland Metropolitan area was founded in 1979.
