GR Williams Engineering, Inc., usually referred to as Williams Engineering or simply WEI, was founded in 1992 in the Grand Junction, Colorado area by Gerald Williams.WEI specializes in municipal and governmental civil engineering work. WEI has considerable experience in modeling, studying, master planning, and designing sanitary and storm sewers; drainage, erosion, and flood control facilities; and water and irrigation systems. Facilities include conveyance and distribution systems and lift, pump, and booster stations. WEI projects include criteria manuals, regional studies, and master planning for municipalities, and also road and site work engineering.Until 2005, WEI had not pursued private sector work, but had accepted repeated requests from other engineering firms to provide specialty water resource engineering subconsultant services for private sector work. WEI will continue to focus on providing public sector and subconsulting services, and starting in 2005, will also begin offering private sector services as well.
