In Orthopaedic Surgery, we provide surgical and non-surgical care to patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, including fractures or injuries of the bones, muscles, joints, or tendons.

Although my training was in pediatrics, my ultimate career path led me to family medicine, where I have been practicing since 1997 (since 2000 at Wilmington Health). As I progressed in my career, I became dismayed as I cared for adult patients with diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and other co-morbidities associated with being overweight; then I also began caring for their children, who were headed down the same path.
