We specialize in working with teens and young adults who have dual diagnosis. When working with dual diagnosis we strongly believe in a systemic approach, which includes the family. Family treatment is imperative for long term success.

WinGate serves young adults struggling with a variety of clinical, emotional, and academic issues. Our clinical team is experienced in working with a wide variety of clients but also have special expertise in addressing complex concerns that may arise. The strong clinical emphasis at WinGate makes certain that our clients improve in emotional and mental health during their stay and are well-prepared for the future.

With over 80 years of collective experience with wilderness therapy programs, we know how to help troubled teens and struggling young adults find a new direction and purpose in life. We are considered a therapeutic transitional living program where we teach independent living skills that lead to a healthy balanced life.

Some wilderness programs struggle while working with young adults in wilderness. Many wilderness programs know of the best practices for working with teens, but they struggle in adapting their brand of wilderness therapy to young adults.
