W inans Investments (formerly Winans International) is an independent and privately owned registered investment advisory firm. We have built a successful reputation since 1992 through our unique investment management style and award-winning financial history research.

Every quarter we provide a performance analysis of investments called the Portfolio Overview. This all-inclusive report takes the information provided by the brokerage house on all the accounts being managed for the client and combines it into one report that makes it easy to follow the progress being made in reaching the established five-year goal. As part of the Portfolio Overview, we tabulate most tax-related investment issues such as: short-term and long-term term capital gains transactions, dividend and interest income, and potential deductible fees.

A true entrepreneur, Mr. Winans left a promising career with Merrill Lynch and started Winans International in 1992 with only 7 clients. He envisioned an advisory practice different from other investment firms. By providing innovative investment solutions, made possible through his proprietary research, he could design individual portfolios to meet the complex needs of each client. Ken's beliefs run counter to the impersonal, "one-size-fits-all" asset management approach commonly practiced on Wall Street.

Our clients have direct access to our client servicing team as well as our portfolio management team. Any member of the Winans' team can be made available for clients to consult with. Additionally, we work with our clients' other advisors (accountants, attorneys, pension administrators, insurance agents, etc.), through all phases of the financial process in order to develop a financial strategy that is all encompassing.
