Winar #1 Sales, Inc. is an electrical distributor, specializing in electrical connectors, cable ties, heat shrink products and other related items. The company was incorporated in April of 1982, as Winar Connection, Inc. The Company started out in a 2,000 square foot office and warehouse space on Brookpark Road in Parma, Ohio. The company founders and four equal owners were George Rees, James Winar, Roy Winar and William Winar. When Roy passed away in 1985, his brother, Tom Winar, replaced him as Treasurer and as a board member of the company.
