Our shop is divided into four areas: the chair shop, the table-bed-casepiece shop, the finish area, and the rub-out and pack area. All visitors are encouraged to wander through the workshop and to chat with the builders about our furniture. We want our customers to know why our products are a wise investment. Seeing the process and discovering why we design and build the way we do puts you, the customer, in the process. You are involved in choosing the size, color and look of your finished piece. That's why touring our workshop is part of the Windsor Chairmakers experience.

We ask for a $200 deposit to begin your order. At that time, we reserve a space in our production schedule for your furniture and loan finish samples to you, either in person or by mail. Prior to your build date, we will finalize the details of your order in writing. We also ask for all finish samples to be returned, along with your selection marked with your name. Since our furniture is custom made, we require payment in full prior to building, including shipping. We prefer checks as payment, but accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

Windsor Chairmakers offers a full line of shaker furniture , made by hand, one piece at a time. Enhanced by the beauty of natural wood and our special finishing process, our Shaker chairs, buffets, and tables reflect the simplicity and warmth of traditional Shaker style.
